Size Measurement Guide

The measurements for all SoulSong garments are listed in the garment information located on each individual product page.  Each SoulSong creation is a slightly different shape and fit, so please take the time to measure your size.

How to measure:

Bust:
Measure around the fullest section of your bust/chest, under your arms (wearing a bra that you would normally wear).

Waist
Relax your stomach and measure around the natural curve of your waist, above your hips.

Hips/Butt
Measure around the most bountiful region of your hips/butt.

Shoulder to hem
When comparing to see if our 'shoulder to hem' measurements are going to suit you.
Stand tall and let the end of the tape fall loosely and the final measurement held at your shoulder. This allows you to see if the garment length is right for you.

Leg Length
Stand tall and let the end of the tape fall loosely to the ankle (or leg if measuring skirt length) and the final measurement held at waist height. This allows you to find an accurate length without bending, and you will see if the garment length is right for you.

In Seam
Measure the distance from the crotch to just below the ankle bone.

Arm Length
This will depend on the style of the garment. Arm lengths measurements may be from the neckline, shoulder and at times underarm. So please check as the exact area to measure will be noted in the garment measurements.

Note: Our garments are pre-washed and pre-shrunk during the printing and dying process – this ensures the fit is true.

Elegantly feminine in form, it features a softly fitted button-up bodice, graceful length, and fine gathers through the side panels and across the back, creating subtle shape while gently skimming the waist.
The main body is lined in superfine cotton, offering breathable comfort and modest coverage – allowing you to wear it with ease and confidence.
Perfect on its own for warmer days, or styled with boots and tights as the weather cools. For a more layered look, pair it with our Culottes for added length and texture.
The Erika Dress is available in a range of hand block prints – each print soulful, seasonal, and entirely unique.

Washing & Caring:
Handmade garments need extra loving care. Please gently hand wash in COLD water. Do not soak or leave wet in laundry basket.. Do not place in a dryer.  Place on hanger to dry in the shade. Leave un-ironed for that natural cotton look and feel.
We recommend washing Indigo’s separately in cold salty water several times to release any excess dye.
