Size Measurement Guide

The measurements for all SoulSong garments are listed in the garment information located on each individual product page.  Each SoulSong creation is a slightly different shape and fit, so please take the time to measure your size.

How to measure:

Bust:
Measure around the fullest section of your bust/chest, under your arms (wearing a bra that you would normally wear).

Waist
Relax your stomach and measure around the natural curve of your waist, above your hips.

Hips/Butt
Measure around the most bountiful region of your hips/butt.

Shoulder to hem
When comparing to see if our 'shoulder to hem' measurements are going to suit you.
Stand tall and let the end of the tape fall loosely and the final measurement held at your shoulder. This allows you to see if the garment length is right for you.

Leg Length
Stand tall and let the end of the tape fall loosely to the ankle (or leg if measuring skirt length) and the final measurement held at waist height. This allows you to find an accurate length without bending, and you will see if the garment length is right for you.

In Seam
Measure the distance from the crotch to just below the ankle bone.

Arm Length
This will depend on the style of the garment. Arm lengths measurements may be from the neckline, shoulder and at times underarm. So please check as the exact area to measure will be noted in the garment measurements.

Note: Our garments are pre-washed and pre-shrunk during the printing and dying process – this ensures the fit is true.

Hand block printed in Gujarat on soft Silk Velvet using all-natural pigment dyes, it drapes effortlessly to a mid-shin length, with a flow that feels both regal and grounded.
Every inside edge is framed with a sumptuous satin border, also hand block printed and stitched meticulously by hand – a hidden detail, designed to be felt as much as seen.
With deep pockets, an open front, and a soft collar, the Odessa is equal parts elegance and ease.

Slow ethical fashion: Traditional Gujarat hand block prints, skilfully printed onto luxurious Silk/Velvet.

Main body is Silk/Velvet. Inside edge lining and pockets in Satin.

Wash & Care instructions:  Be very gentle as I’m made from luxuriously fine Silk/Velvet.
Dry Clean only. Air after wearing. Lightly steam if required or gently iron on low heat setting using a press cloth.
DO NOT machine wash or tumble dry.
Storage: We recommend gently folding and storing in the bag supplied from us, or short term hang on a well padded coat hanger, keeping away from anything that may catch or snag on the fabric.
Prolonged hanging will affect the shape of your Silk/Velvet Coat.
Extra Care: Ensure that you’re not wearing jewellery that may snag on the fabric. We suggest taking the storage bag (provided) with you when wearing your coat. If you wish to remove your coat at any time you have a safe bag to store it in.
