Our Body Soft garments are made from the natural fibres of Beechwood pulp - a unique premium grade Rayon Viscose Spandex. Unlike most man made textiles Rayon Viscose Spandex is made from natural cellulose fibre derived from wood pulp.

What makes this fabric so unique? It’s elasticity and strength ensures the fabric is well fitting, has minimal pilling/balling and exceptional longevity.

Made from natural Beechwood fibres, our Body Soft fabric is smooth, breathable, and exceptionally soft against the skin. With gentle stretch, graceful drape, and excellent shape retention, it's ideal for layering and easy everyday wear across the seasons.

The Process

Small Batch Dyeing

Our plain colour garments are produced in small batches, allowing for a more thoughtful and considered approach to colour, tone, and finish. From softly dyed earthy hues to natural whites, each piece celebrates the beauty of simple colour, natural fibres, and timeless everyday wear.

Fit may vary between styles, with some designed for a relaxed fit and others more shaped through the bust, waist, or hips.

As most SoulSong garments are made from natural cotton with minimal stretch, we recommend allowing room for ease and movement when selecting your size.

Garment Care

Handmade garments need extra loving care. Gently hand wash in COLD water using a very small amount of natural detergent. Do not soak or leave wet in a laundry basket. Do not place in a dryer. Drape or hang in the shade to dry. Leave un-ironed for that natural cotton look and feel.

Lovingly handmade in India, slight variations in colour are part of the unique beauty of each garment.

We understand that purchasing online can sometimes be difficult, and occasionally a garment may not feel quite right once it arrives.

Full priced items: can be returned for a refund or credit note. Full priced Vintage garments can be returned for a credit note only.

Full priced items purchased during a promotion: can be returned for a credit note only.

Clearance sale items: are final sale and not eligible for a return, unless deemed faulty.

Returns must be lodged within 14 days of delivery via our Returns Portal.
Garments must be returned unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, and folded inside the recycled vintage sari carry bag provided.
