A soft shirred waistband keeps her comfortable and easy to wear, while the flowing silhouette brings a lovely sense of freedom to every step.

The Flamenco Skirt is back, and there's so much to love about this beautiful classic favourite.

It's all in the cut. Fifty individually tapered panels come together to create an extraordinary circular silhouette, giving Flamenco her signature sweep and beautiful movement. The cloth opens and flows as you walk, with a lovely sense of fullness that feels feminine, free and just a little playful.

A soft, deeply shirred waistband sits comfortably against the body, allowing for a flexible fit across a lovely range of sizes. From the waist, the skirt falls into that beautiful, flowing shape, with all those carefully cut panels doing the work.

And there's a little versatility in Flamenco too. Pull her up over the bust and she becomes a relaxed strapless summer dress.

Whether worn as a skirt or a dress, she has a wonderful freedom about her — full of colour, movement and a little vintage bohemian spirit.

Soft and weightless with a light, flowing feel. Semi-sheer with a fine, gentle softness to the touch, moving beautifully on the body.

The Process

Hand Block Printed in India

Hand block printing is a traditional and highly skilled artisan technique, where fabric is printed by hand using intricately carved rosewood blocks.

It's a process that takes time, and begins with preparing the cloth and carving the blocks. The dye master then mixes the colours by hand and memory, each print is placed with precision, guided by eye and experience — a steady rhythm, applying the print in layers to bring the pattern to life.

Once printed, the fabric is washed, dried, and checked — revealing a textile shaped by time, skill, and human touch.

Subtle variations may occur, and are part of what makes each piece unique.

Garment Care

Handmade garments need extra loving care. Gently hand wash in COLD water using a very small amount of natural detergent. Do not soak or leave wet in a laundry basket. Do not place in a dryer. Drape or hang in the shade to dry. Leave un-ironed for that natural cotton look and feel.

TWIST & STORE
A little twist keeps those lovely crinkles in place.
After gently washing in cold water, allow your garment to dry, then twist firmly, knot and store to preserve its beautiful crinkled texture and flowing shape.
Twist it. Store it. Love it.

We recommend washing Indigo pieces separately in cold salty water several times to help release any excess dye.
