Soft and weightless with a light, flowing feel. Semi-sheer with a fine, gentle softness to the touch, moving beautifully on the body.

The Process

Hand Block Printed in India

Hand block printing is a traditional and highly skilled artisan technique, where fabric is printed by hand using intricately carved rosewood blocks.

It's a process that takes time, and begins with preparing the cloth and carving the blocks. The dye master then mixes the colours by hand and memory, each print is placed with precision, guided by eye and experience — a steady rhythm, applying the print in layers to bring the pattern to life.

Once printed, the fabric is washed, dried, and checked — revealing a textile shaped by time, skill, and human touch.

Subtle variations may occur, and are part of what makes each piece unique.

Garment Care

Handmade garments need extra loving care. Gently hand wash in COLD water using a very small amount of natural detergent. Do not soak or leave wet in a laundry basket. Do not place in a dryer. Drape or hang in the shade to dry. Leave un-ironed for that natural cotton look and feel.

We recommend washing Indigo pieces separately in cold salty water several times to help release any excess dye.

Lovingly handmade in India, slight variations in colour are part of the unique beauty of each garment.

Full priced items: can be returned for a refund or credit note. Full priced Vintage garments can be returned for a credit note only.

Sale items: are final sale and not eligible for a return, unless deemed faulty.

Returns must be lodged within 14 days of delivery via our Returns Portal.
Garments must be returned unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, and folded inside the recycled vintage sari carry bag provided.

Lovely dress

Received my dress yesterday and absolutely love it .
Material is beautiful, exactly as I expected after visiting India last year and seeing how it's printed.
Returned to purchase the indigo but its out of stock 😢
Delivery was prompt and I will definitely be ordering again.

Hi, it is always difficult when purchasing a garment without trying it on, but I have observed the following- the cotton is not as soft as I thought it would be even after a first wash. It is very see through which is not what I was expecting. The join under the bust is something I will need to get use to - not a good fit.
Look I love the style and the colours, that is what drew me to purchase it in the first place.
I am not the size that I purchased, generally medium, but due to same being Indian went for the larger size, glad i did. I have been buying from a local Indian store and the sizes are all over the shop, set this as an example.
Overall I am satisfied with the product, have not officially worn it to date.
