The square neckline gives Lola her distinctive look, while the sleeveless cut and softly shaped body create a relaxed, flattering silhouette. Sitting just below the waist, she falls naturally over the body, with a gentle drape that feels comfortable and beautifully uncomplicated.

There's a lovely balance to Lola. A little structure through the shape, softened by the lightness of the cotton and the beautiful hand block prints.

The Textile

Soft and weightless with a light, flowing feel. Semi-sheer with a fine, gentle softness to the touch, moving beautifully on the body.

The Process

Hand Block Printed Indigo

Created using a traditional mud-resist hand block printing technique, each Indigo piece carries the depth and character of this centuries-old artisan process. Intricately carved wooden blocks are hand-printed onto the fabric using a specially formulated mud resist paste, before the cloth is immersed into an indigo dye vat.

Once dried beneath the sun and gently washed, the resist is lifted away to reveal the design beneath — rich indigo tones layered with beautifully organic texture and tonal variation.

Slow, skilful, and deeply rooted in tradition, this time-honoured process celebrates the beauty of human touch and natural indigo dyeing.

Garment Care

Handmade garments need extra loving care. Gently hand wash in COLD water using a very small amount of natural detergent. Do not soak or leave wet in a laundry basket. Do not place in a dryer. Drape or hang in the shade to dry. Leave un-ironed for that natural cotton look and feel.

We recommend washing Indigo pieces separately in cold salty water several times to help release any excess dye.

Lovingly handmade in India, slight variations in colour are part of the unique beauty of each garment.

Absolutely beautiful, I'm tall and a size 14 so I thought maybe this would be too short (bought size L/XL) but it fits just like the picture and the material is lovely and light, I'd love to see more styles in this lovely print.
