The Process

Hand Block Printed Indigo

Created using a traditional mud-resist hand block printing technique, each Indigo piece carries the depth and character of this centuries-old artisan process. Intricately carved wooden blocks are hand-printed onto the fabric using a specially formulated mud resist paste, before the cloth is immersed into an indigo dye vat.

Once dried beneath the sun and gently washed, the resist is lifted away to reveal the design beneath — rich indigo tones layered with beautifully organic texture and tonal variation.

Slow, skilful, and deeply rooted in tradition, this time-honoured process celebrates the beauty of human touch and natural indigo dyeing.

The Process

Hand Stitched in India

From simple hand-stitched borders that bring a soft, refined finish to a garment, to more intricate embroidery rich with colour and character — each detail is created slowly, by hand. Some stitching is subtle and understated, adding quiet finesse, while other pieces are more expressive, celebrating traditional embroidery techniques and the beauty of artisan-made detail.

Handmade garments need extra loving care. Gently hand wash in COLD water using a very small amount of natural detergent. Do not soak or leave wet in a laundry basket. Do not place in a dryer. Drape or hang in the shade to dry. Leave un-ironed for that natural cotton look and feel.

We recommend washing Indigo pieces separately in cold salty water several times to help release any excess dye.
