The Viva Kantha Jacket is made from hand-stitched vintage Kantha rugs in 100% cotton and 100% recycled fabric - each one a small work of folk art in its own right. Oversized and relaxed, it layers effortlessly over almost anything. Beautifully imperfect and entirely unique, just as it should be.

Embracing sustainability and the essence of the past, our Vintage Viva Kantha Jacket is made from 100% Cotton, using 100% recycled fabrics. The Viva is an elegantly oversized jacket with a relaxed shape & fall that you can layer over anything you like.

These timeless gems are created from layers of pre-loved cotton Sari's, up cycled and beautifully stitched into a rug size. The beautiful allover embroidery has been sewn by hand. Each piece an individual "one off" creation, brought to life in each thread.Every Kantha is handpicked with LOVE and up-cycled into this unique & exclusive Jacket.Our Viva Kantha Jacket collection is created from ethically sourced Kantha's in Rajasthan, India.

Created from repurposed vintage textiles, our Vintage Kantha pieces are cut from traditional Kantha quilts — layered vintage cotton saris hand stitched together over time — while our vintage sari blouses are created from reclaimed silk, wool/silk blends, and cotton saris. Rich in character and history, no two are ever the same.

Each piece is thoughtfully reimagined from vintage textiles and produced in small quantities, celebrating the beauty, craftsmanship, and time-worn nature of artisan-made fabrics. Every garment is unique — a true one-off.

Measurements:

Shoulder to hem - 77cm

Chest circumference - 154cm

Arm hole circumference - 60cm

Arm length (neck to cuff) - 68cm

Measurements are shown in centimetres (cm) and taken with the garment laid flat. They refer to the garment itself, not your body.

Fit may vary between styles, with some designed for a relaxed fit and others more shaped through the bust, waist, or hips.

As most SoulSong garments are made from natural cotton with minimal stretch, we recommend allowing room for ease and movement when selecting your size.

Garment Care

Please treat me gently, as I'm made from vintage textiles and/or hand embroidery.

We recommend: spot clean | steam | air | dry clean.

If needed, gently hand wash in cool water. Do not soak. Drape over a towel to dry immediately.

Lovingly handmade in India, slight variations in colour are part of the unique beauty of each garment.

Sale items: are final sale and not eligible for a return, unless deemed faulty.

Full priced items: can be returned for a refund or credit note. Full priced Vintage garments can be returned for a credit note only.

Full priced items purchased during a promotion: can be returned for a credit note only.

Returns must be lodged within 14 days of delivery via our Returns Portal.
Garments must be returned unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, and folded inside the recycled vintage sari carry bag provided.

I just love this jacket. The artistry in its creation,the fabrics choices, it is so well constructed. The up-cycled fabrics are beautiful and I love the fact that the artists that sew it together get paid properly. It’s awesome knowing my jacket is individual and unique.
