The Textile
Hand Loomed Organic Kala Cotton

Kala cotton is one of India's oldest indigenous cotton varieties, traditionally grown using rain-fed farming methods and requiring minimal intervention.

The cotton yarns are naturally dyed before being hand loomed by skilled artisans, creating beautifully textured cloth rich in character and depth.

Naturally breathable and rich in substance, Kala cotton is celebrated for its durability, beautiful texture, and individuality that only handwoven cloth can bring.

The Process
Loom & Tassel

Hand loomed cloth, decorative woven patterns, and hand-finished tassels come together in a beautifully layered expression of traditional textile making.

Rich in depth, individuality, and human touch, each scarf reflects generations of weaving knowledge and the enduring appeal of cloth shaped slowly by human hands.

Subtle variations may occur, and are part of what makes each piece unique.

Sizing

Scarf measures 200cm x 60cm

Measurements are shown in centimetres (cm) and taken with the garment laid flat. They refer to the garment itself, not your body.

Fit may vary between styles, with some designed for a relaxed fit and others more shaped through the bust, waist, or hips.

As most SoulSong garments are made from natural cotton with minimal stretch, we recommend allowing room for ease and movement when selecting your size.

Garment Care

Our Woven Earth garments require gentle care, as they feature natural dyes, hand loomed cloth, hand stitching, and many handmade details and embellishments.

We recommend spot clean | steam | air | dry clean.

If washing is required, gently hand wash in cool water using a mild natural detergent. Do not soak. Gently reshape and drape over a towel to dry immediately.

We understand that purchasing online can sometimes be difficult, and occasionally a garment may not feel quite right once it arrives.

Full priced items: can be returned for a refund or credit note. Full priced Vintage garments can be returned for a credit note only.

Full priced items purchased during a promotion: can be returned for a credit note only.

Clearance sale items: are final sale and not eligible for a return, unless deemed faulty.

Returns must be lodged within 14 days of delivery via our Returns Portal.
Garments must be returned unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, and folded inside the recycled vintage sari carry bag provided.
